How MUVN started
An idea that wouldn't let go.
Katharina moved from Regensburg to Hamburg. Not much, just a few bulky items — but enough to learn: a moving company is far too expensive, and parcel services won't take those things anyway.
What she did instead: she asked friends who were heading that direction anyway if they could bring something along. It worked.
From that moment came a question: Why isn't there a simple platform for this? Cars drive half-empty across Germany every day. The space is there — it just isn't being used.
Katharina didn't need long to convince her co-founders Massimo and Emre. Since then the three of them have been building MUVN together with a growing team working out of Hamburg, Düsseldorf and Cologne. The goal stays the same: use existing resources better and make transport as effortless as messaging a friend.
